From my friend Richard Rogers:
“What choice does your soul refuse to let you make one more time but your mind still wants to argue about?”
My answer is self-doubt.
3 of my favorites buoy me up just as I need them:
1) Gil Hedley:
“At some point, every one of us decides that “the time” is now. Any reason we put forth to wait, to postpone, to resist, dissolves in the face of the hour become so perfect that we feel keenly the momentum to act. And we do. Or not. There is no guarantee any of us will do what we need to do. Fortunately this spinning dot of reflected light we call home will likely serve up another opportunity to us sooner or later. It really is a very forgiving place that way. There is a kind of compassion and patience built into the system which we can extend to others, as it is extended to us.”
2.) Ram Dass:
“Everything you do, whether you’re cooking food or doing therapy or being a student or being a lover, you are only doing your own being, you’re only manifesting how evolved a consciousness you are. That’s what you’re doing with another human being. That’s the only dance there is!”
3.) Eckhart Tolle:
There’s really nothing to fear!
Looking ahead to 2013….Following in the footsteps of my friend and mentor Jamie Eslinger….sharing acts of giving; received, proferred and witnessed, every single day.
The world is such a beautiful tender place. So grateful I am alive and living Big within it.
Much love to all of you….
